Today, Star of Hope, with its Headquater in Sweden, operates in 15 different countries, caring for approximately 44,000 children, aged from 0 to 12 years old. Countries in precarious conditions, such as Haiti, Iraq, Kenya, Ghanaians, Argentina, Colombia and etc. During the war in Iraq, Star of Hope International was the only NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), linked to the children to remain in the ground war. Recently, in several attacks and catastrophes, Star of Hope has been present, bringing immediate assistance to the children and their families.
Star of Hope International has among its partners, thousands of people around the world, countless individuals and hundreds of companies heavily involved in all projects proposed by the Board. Dr. Tomas Soderberg is the president of the Star of Hope Brazil, a well-known hand surgeon medical doctor, politician, and also a great Christian minister with a huge experience in the field, recognizing the needs of the people living on deprived situation. Star of Hope is one of the Christian NGO’s fastest-growing nowadays.
Star of Hope equips children across the world with knowledge, physical well-being, spiritual growth and social skills through educational programs by local and international partnerships.
