About the Project
Healthy
Supported by donations coming from Norway and Sweden, the Mobil Clinic was shared with Santos City Hall through Star of Hope Brazil in March 2005, for undetermined period, with driver in charge specifically for the HEALTHY DAY CARE PROGRAM, the vehicle is staffed with a star of hope`s driver and works from Monday through Friday between 08:00 am – 6:00 pm
The total number of beneficiaries of the project are about 4200 kids every month.
Overall aim
The Mobile Clinic’s aim is to improve the quality of healthy and also the life of the children as a whole, giving them the conditions to take all the vaccines and also offering them a mobile medical center where the parents get free medical assistance.
Offering all these services Star of Hope is helping the state of São Paulo to increase the number of children without lack of vaccination, to improve the health condition among the children, to increase the personal hygiene of the children, to enable the children to access satisfactory nourishment, and etc.
